Animal ethics issues
Dear colleagues:
As we inform you previously that started from the year 2020, TASJ is published FOUR times a year IN March, June, September, and December. In 2020, TASJ enhances the achievement by becoming a Q2 journal on Scimago Journal & Country Rank (SJR) with an SJR value of 0.386.
To enhance the quality of the journal’s published and to develop TASJ to be an international class journal, one of the efforts that have to be initiated is ensuring that studies involving animals are performed according to animal ethics and welfare. All experimental animals should be cared for and used in compliance with international, national, or local regulations.
Therefore, the authors who submit their manuscript to TASJ are obliged to state explicitly in a statement/letter including the name of ethics authority and the approval number, that experiments were approved by an authority concerning the compliance with animal ethics and welfare. The policy will be applied in the March 2021 issue.
